BabelSound is dedicated to embodying the essence of diversity in World Music. For over a decade, this organization has curated a wide array of concerts, showcasing talents from various corners of the globe. By inviting artists to represent their respective countries, BabelSound continuously challenges conventional norms and broadens the cultural perspectives of its audiences.
Unlike typical festivals, BabelSound is described more as a ‘big family gathering.’ The organization encourages performers to fully immerse themselves in their events, often extending their stay for days or even throughout the entire festival. This may include residency programs or voluntary participation before and/or after their performances. As a result, musicians don’t simply arrive for a show and depart immediately afterward; instead, they have the opportunity to connect with their peers, forge cultural and personal connections, and nurture lasting relationships before embarking on their continued journeys until they reunite once more.
